WE ARE ALL MADE OF STARS

Some years ago I had the privilege of taking a workshop at the whole life expo taught by the famed ufo scholar Zechariah Sitchin. I enjoyed listening to his theories and watching slides about the Sumerian tablets and how the ancient writings spoke of a possible race of beings who were once on this earth and
played a part in humanities beginnings. But despite the interesting lecture I noticed that Mr. Sitchin was not in the best of moods. Later I found out that it was due to a student who confronted him right before the class started and told him that if it were indeed true that an advance race of beings once visited our
planet, where are the photographs? Surely they would have had the technology to leave behind plausible evidence. Mr. Sitchin tried to explain that it tells the details in the tablets but he had to cut the conversation and get to the workshop where he was going to explain his research.

I have often found that when it came to the subject of ufos and alien life, there are three schools of thought I run into. The first is that it's a friendly universe of brotherly love and we should see all planetary species as our friends and make them welcome. The second is that we need to be cautious and that the thought of a more advanced species observing us is frightening. The third is that there is no evidence to support other life forms beyond earth and it's nothing but a fantasy to be scoffed at. So who is really holding a piece of the puzzle and where should we direct our attention when it comes to such a
subject that is shrouded in mystery?

The answer that comes to me is they all are.

In the 1950's when the first atomic bombs were being experimented with, we started hearing stories of unidentified flying objects seen in our skies and of meetings in the desert with human forms who claimed they were from a visiting planet. Men such as George Adamski and Daniel Fry to name a couple bravely told stories of their encounters and risked ridicule from a skeptical public. The stories may have been slightly different but the message was clear. We must stop our possible self destruction or it may affect this planet and beyond. Then later came the stories of abduction dreams and a few encounters where they seemed more less personal and a bit frightening as the people who spoke of these dreams or witnessed these brief encounters was not prepared on what they were experiencing which seemed cold, emotionless and out of their control. In the early years these stories were taken as groundless but later many therapists have begun to study these reports to see what is really going on behind the
scenes after many people on a mass level have begun to speak up about having similar dreams. And last we have our skeptics who are learned men and women in their field and they need hard fixed evidence and facts before they can conclude that life beyond earth is a fact. And there is nothing wrong with that viewpoint as long as it's healthy skepticism. History has shown us that great progress has happened when one believed in the impossible and pursued it even when the outcome seemed a like a far away pipe dream.

So why this fascination with the stars and what makes us keep looking to our skies for answers? Perhaps it's something in our DNA that remembers a time when the veils were thin and we could trace our origins to those very beginnings that have been lost in the mists of time and recalled in our ancient myths and stories. In every earth centered culture from the Druids to the American Indians, all of their shamans who were trained in the art of seeing recall reading star patterns and learning the planet's and their motions. They have claimed to be able to communicate on some level with an ancient race of beings who have a connection to humanity and are still guiding us towards our destiny. The Hindus speak of flying objects called Vimanas in their Sanskrits. The bible tells of descriptions of flying objects such as Ezekiel's wheel and angelic chariots.

Where is this all leading us on our future and where we are going with our planet and as a species? Every decade we are advancing in new discoveries that are drawing us a little closer to the answers we have been seeking in regards to space and time and what life looks and feels like on other planetary
atmospheres. One scientist who studied the ions of the air in the atmosphere of a certain planet claimed that if human life lived there, it would turn the skin a blue tinge. Does this remind one of pictures of the Hindu God Krishna and his blue tinted skin? Perhaps the ancient scripts hold answers to scientific
mysteries that we will decode someday. And if the ancient ones are still observing us then it may be that we also hold a key to their learning as well. The more we look inside ourselves and develop our unique qualities the more doors will open and we will start to unlock the mysteries of space and time that
have been waiting for us throughout the ages.  Back to what I said about Zecharia Sitchin. He ended up doing a book signing that day and was very polite in answering questions about his work. I highly
recommend his book called: Divine Encounters : A Guide to Visions, Angels and Other Emissaries.

Remember keep your feet firmly on the ground and keep your eyes searching towards the stars.

I welcome your comments on the air.
